The Naturist Rocker
“Woodland Wildlife”

So here we are nearly into the third month of 2012, and finally the cold weather is just starting to turn warmer. We had some snow in February and although we thought of a brief naked walk into the countryside it wasn’t a very serious thought. During February the BN (British Naturism) new year swim promotion took place in various places up and down the country, with some clubs getting on the TV and some getting valuable airtime on the radio.2012 will see the first BN National Conference at IIham Hall in Derbyshire, that takes place during April and November will also herald the return of the now yearly trek to Alton Towers Splash resort. Being a naturist it is important to me to support the national organisation, a organisation which keeps naturism and its important issues to the fore. Last Tuesday we managed to get out on what was the first sunny day and have a walk through the woods in our local area. We saw some Dear running around in the distance, but any thought of taking some pics of them, soon disappeared as they ran off as soon as the camera came out. We ventured off the main footpath and there the clothes came off and for a while we had a walk around, it felt just great. After recent bad press reports regarding another BN member getting arrested for walking naked around Otley Chevin, it’s such a shame our great countryside cannot be generally appreciated the way all other wildlife appreciate it….naked. It would so good to be able to leave our clothes behind and walk for miles under warm sun and clear skies without a care in the world.
